The Village of Canning is nestled at the foot of the North Mountain beside the Habitant River, in Kings County. The quaint Village is the hub of small surrounding communities and consists of a variety of quaint shops and services. While driving through the cozy community you will experience historic homes from the 1800's, many unique shops and services, The Farmhouse Inn Bed & Breakfast, churches, art, grocery, pharmacy, and hardware stores covering all of your needs. There are also various eating establishments where you can sit in or take all offering different food choices.

For a small village, Canning has a lot to offer. Just minutes away you will find the Look-off a very common tourist destination allowing you to view the beautiful Annapolis Valley. In a short driving distance you will also be able to visit the various beaches that surrond Canning such as, Blomidon, Kingsport, Halls Harbour and Scotts Bay as well as the well known hiking trail, Cape Split.

Visitors are able to experience the views, food, culture, recreation as well as the local artists and crafts people throughout the Village of Canning!

Many other tourist destinations are located just 15 minutes away such as, Wolfville or Port Williams where numerous wineries, farm markets, extraordinary views, beaches, shops and eating establishments await you!
